Das Naturschutzgebiet Ossenberg- Fehrenbusch mit Hünenburg

Die Burganlage südöstlich des Adelebsener Ortsteils Güntersen und südwestlich des Ortsteils Barterode lag auf einem Sporn des nach Südwesten auslaufenden Ossenbergs auf knapp 440 m Höhe über dem Tal der Auschnippe im Naturschutzgebiet Ossenberg - Fehrenbusch. Um 1978 wurden die Basaltgänge auf dem Burggelände untersucht und geologisch und petrografisch beschrieben.
